Pool maintenance can be a great deal of work – but fortunately, automatic pool cleaners will make the job easier for you
It is important to keep your swimming pool water pristine and fresh, so that you can get the most out of it. Pool maintenance can be a great deal of work – but fortunately, automatic pool cleaners will make the job easier for you.
The automatic pool cleaner is designed to move all around the bottom of the pool, pulling in dirt and contaminants. It uses a water vacuum and filter to clean all the water. You can simply turn it on and let it run, instead of combing the pool with a net, which is labor intensive. It’s easy to see why these devices are so popular when juxtaposed with grueling duty of physically removing water debris from your pool with a pool net.
There are different types of automatic pool cleaner. The standard version uses a water pump to move around the pool randomly, so that it will eventually cover the entire area. A more expensive version is the robotic pool cleaner, which can be programmed to systematically move across the entire pool. This will ensure that every area was vacuum cleaned, which is especially useful for a pool with an odd shape.
Either way, the automatic pool cleaner offers convenience. There is also the advantage that it will effectively clear out dirt or algae from the bottom of the pool, which can be hard to clean manually. Besides a source of electricity, all it will need is to be hooked to a water pump. There are two basic variations – pressure side and suction side. The suction side models connect to the skimmer, and function as an addition to your regular pool filtration system. Pressure side pool cleaners connect to the return valve, and are much more powerful. They also leave the regular filter open for greater cleaning efficiency.
