If you are attending a trade show, what can bring attention to your trade show exhibit? A banner stand, with your name and company logo emblazoned across it, can draw the eye and bring potential clients or customers in for a closer look. There are several different types of banner stands. Depending on your budget, these can be fairly simple and traditional or more high tech.
Traditional banners are usually basic signs made out of fabric or vinyl. Both are easy to transport. Fabric signs can travel better than vinyl signs, but vinyl signs can be easier to read and easier to clean. Both of these are great for those who have budget concerns.
There are also custom signs that can have whatever information you need printed on them, therefore informing potential clients and customers of pertinent information. They are portable and come in different sizes, usually six to seven feet.
Retail banner stands can be either floor displays or wall-mounted if space is an issue. These can display whatever promotional information you need the public to be aware of. There are also outdoor versions of these signs that can handle exposure to the sun, wind, and rain.
According to trade show expert Bev Gray, “If you would like your trade show exhibit to have a more high tech feel, there are several different varieties of banner stands to help you with this. There are telescoping stands so you can adjust the height of your sign. Retractable banner stands allow you to easily roll up your sign or switch it out with another if you want to change the look of your booth. Then there are scrolling banner stands that move and continuously have whatever message displayed to the public. These are two-sided so they are easily seen from different directions and can even have two different messages scrolling at the same time, one on either side.”
Regardless of your preference or budget, your trade show exhibit would most likely benefit with one of these types of banner stands. Getting your name out there is an important part of business, and a seven foot banner will help people see it.
