A simple way to get started and get results right away is by selling some of all the things you never use. Go through the house and find all the stuff you don’t really need. If you have kids they usually have a lot of stuff they don’t need and if you explain what you are trying to do they are more than likely to want to help out. Also make sure to go through any storage space you have in the basement or attic.
Then log on to EBay to sell it online or make a garage sale. It’s really amazing how much of the stuff you don’t use that people are willing to pay for. And why not take advantage of all the things you have lying around that that you don’t use any way?
And the last important thing to do is to use the money you make to make a down payment on the most expensive loan. That way you both earn money from old stuff and save future interest from the part of your debt you just paid off.
